Blackbeard (#463-98) & Captain Kidd (#464-98) Aurora Models Sealed (Aurora, 1965). These two "Famous Pirates" releases let 1960s hobbyists bring swashbuckling legend to the desktop, complete with treasure chests, cutlasses, and the richly illustrated box art that made Aurora's figure line an icon. Both kits still wear their original cellophane: Blackbeard's (#463-98) wrap remains snug with only light edge and corner rub, while Captain Kidd's (#464-98) shows similar mild shelf wear, but the front panel bears a prominent crease running through the center-evidence of half a century in port. Inside, the unbuilt parts wait to recreate the Golden Age of Piracy, making this pair a spirited addition to any vintage model fleet or a perfect weekend build for fans eager to hoist the Jolly Roger in styrene form.
