Description

"Undertaker" Dragster (#570-198) Aurora Model Sealed (Aurora, 1964). Introduced during Aurora's golden age of wild hot-rod caricature kits, the Undertaker Dragster (#570-198) turned a ghoulish funeral coach into a quarter-mile rocket-complete with coffin bodywork, skeletal driver, and chrome velocity stacks that seemed torn from Ed Roth's sketchbook. The original shelf-shrink remains intact, and while the box shows the road scars of its six-decade journey-moderate corner softening, gentle edge rub, and a noticeable dent with creasing along the right front panel-the artwork with Dracula lingering at the side still pops, promising a build that's equal parts monster mania and drag-strip mayhem. For collectors of Aurora oddities or builders itching to resurrect a piece of 1960s model-kit culture, this Undertaker is ready to be lowered onto your workbench-no hearses required.
