Description

Batman International Vehicle Lot (Palitoy/Tormo/Bichi, 1977-05). A standout trio from Gotham's global garage, this international Batman lot contains three unique collectible vehicles released by Palitoy, Tormo, and Bichi between 1977 and 2005, each offering regional flair and distinctive design elements not commonly seen in domestic releases. First up is the Palitoy Talking Batmobile, which delivers a selection of voice phrases like "Batmobile Calling" at the push of a rooftop button. The piece is accompanied by its original packaging, showcasing bold imagery of the Dynamic Duo along the left panel. From Argentina comes the battery-operated Bichi Murciel Boat, part of Series 2, a mystery action Batboat finished in teal with an orange canopy and black rear fin, complete with small painted Batman and Robin figures that exhibit light paint loss. Housed in its original box, it's a charming representation of Latin American Batman collectibles. Rounding out the lot is a rare Argentinian Batmobile slot car circa 2005, model #1400 in 1/32 scale, featuring a baby blue body, dark blue canopies, and Batman logo stickers on the front roof and side doors. The vehicle remains in its original tray with a clear plastic cover, marked with a Batman sticker on the left and "Hecho en Argentina" on the right. Each collectible displays handling wear with surface scratching and scuffing throughout. A fascinating blend of global design and Batman iconography, this lot offers a unique cross-section of how the Dark Knight has been interpreted beyond the U.S. toy market.
