The Travails of Sancho Panza: A Play for the Young (Theatre Production, 1969), Backdrop Artwork. Original backdrop artwork created by Tony Walton for the 1969 National Theatre production of The Travails of Sancho Panza. Walton created the art design for this special Christmas production of James Saunders' take on the Don Quixote tale. Collection includes (22) ink and watercolor artworks featuring Walton's stunning graphic backgrounds measuring from 7" x 3.5" to 7.5" x 3.75". Also included are (7) additional designs measuring 4" x 4.25" and a glossy B&W background art print measuring 7.5" x 3.75". Artworks feature the artist's scene annotations written in pencil on the verso. The collection comes in the original National Theater envelope they were presented in. All materials are in production used condition. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
