Star Wars ROTJ Sy Snootles and the Rebo Band 77 Back AFA Y-80+ (Kenner, 1984). A cult favorite from the more eccentric side of the Star Wars galaxy, this Rebo Band figure set was released by Kenner in 1984 as part of the Return of the Jedi toy line. The iconic 3-pack showcases the unforgettable Max Rebo, the blue, elephant-like keyboardist seated at his Red Ball Jett organ; Droopy McCool, the gruff woodwind player with his Chindinkalu flute; and the wild and theatrical Sy Snootles, microphone in hand and ready to perform. Packaged together in a rectangular window box, this set was the only way to obtain all three band members, as none were sold individually. The Rebo Band remains sealed in the original ROTJ 77 Back packaging with unused contents. The vintage figure set is encased in acrylic and graded AFA 80+ Y-NM with subgrades B80 W85 F80. While not your typical combat-ready figures, the Max Rebo Band brought unforgettable personality and flair to Kenner's lineup, adding a whimsical and offbeat charm to any Jabba's palace display. Due to its short production run and notoriously fragile packaging, sealed examples are increasingly rare and stand out as prized treasures among vintage Star Wars collectors.
