Pete Townshend Stage Personally Owned 2005 Fender Stratocaster Red Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #C2523719.
This is a 2005 Fender Stratocaster in a vibrant red finish, Serial #C2523719, built for and owned by Pete Townshend of The Who. The guitar remains clean and near mint, with only minor nicks and light finish checking. Fret wear is minimal, and the guitar retains all of the Townshend-specific features. It comes housed in its original Fender hard case, stenciled with "Pete Townshend". Provenance: From the Collection of The Who Website Administrator Donald Smith.
