1962 Fender Precision Bass White Electric Bass Guitar, Serial #79158.
1962 Fender Precision Bass featuring a beautifully refinished body in white, completed by Pat Wilkins Guitar in Van Nuys around 2009. This classic P-Bass sports a curved dark rosewood fingerboard and original neck dated 5OCT62C. The electronics and pickups are correct. Pots dated to the 18th week of 1962 (304 6218). The original frets show only minor playwear, and the bass comes housed in a Fender hard case.
8lbs. Hard case included. Condition: Very Good.

This early-'60s Precision Bass captures the essence of Fender's golden era of craftsmanship. With its C-neck profile, slab rosewood board, and pre-CBS design, it delivers the unmistakable feel and tone that helped shape generations of bass-driven music. While the body has been professionally refinished, the work by Pat Wilkins-known for his expertise in high-end finishes-respects the instrument's vintage character. The minor fret wear and intact original pickups speak to the bass's light and respectful use over the decades.
