Steve Miller's 1977 Ibanez Artist 2617 Custom White Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #C797277.
An Ibanez Artist Custom made for Steve Miller, the leader of the Steve Miller Band, the hitmaking band with such memorable singles like "The Joker," "Rock'n Me," "Flying Like an Eagle," and "Jet Airliner." Born in Milwaukee but moved to Dallas, TX when he was seven and graduated high school in that town before he moved back to Wisconsin to attend college. In 1966 he formed the Steve Miller Band, who included a classmate of Miller's in an early version: Boz Scaggs.
Very clean and all-original. Some slight binding lacquer wear, otherwise beautiful. Elaborate inlay in the finger along with his name. 9.5lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Excellent.
