1954 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # 1021.
This is a stunning 1954 Fender Stratocaster in its iconic Sunburst finish, from the very first year of the Stratocaster's production. The guitar is all-original, with the exception of the strings, and showcases the craftsmanship and precision that made Fender a household name in the guitar world. The neck is dated TG-10-54, and the body is dated 10/54, both aligning with its original production year. Notably, the wiring tape is dated 11-22-54 and "Virginia", with pots that date to the 43rd week of 1954 (304443). The guitar features a solid body with light finish wear on the fingerboard and a small chip on the back of the body near the treble-side edge. The original Tweed hard case with the center pocket is included and remains in nearly immaculate condition. This 1954 Fender Stratocaster represents the dawn of one of the most iconic electric guitars in history. As one of the earliest Stratocasters ever made, this guitar holds immense historical significance for collectors and musicians alike.
