Description
1952 Gibson Les Paul Gold Solid Body Electric Guitar with 1953 Gibson BR-9 Amplifier. Very clean and original all Gold Les Paul from the first year of production together with a Gibson BR-9 70 watt amplifier-serial # 10449. All original except for one screw in the back plate and a replaced jack plate. The finish is worn down to the wood on the back of the neck at the 4th and 5th frets, treble side. The original frets have minimal wear. There are dings and minor scratches present. Volume and tone pots show scuffing. All in all this is a beautiful example of the rarer all gold, first year Les Paul. Comes in a brown leather Gibson 5 latch case from the later 50's. 9 lbs. The amp is a 1953 Gibson BR-9 in beautiful condition cosmetically. This amp will need to be serviced by a qualified tech. Speaker date code is 220321 (Jenson 21st week 1953). Hard case included.
