1928 Gibson L-5 Sunburst Archtop Acoustic Guitar, Serial #85973.
1928 Gibson L-5 Archtop Acoustic in a beautifully executed sunburst refinish. This guitar has undergone a complete refurbishment, including a factory-quality refinish and expert structural repairs. A professionally done wood splice is present on the back, executed with high-level craftsmanship. The bridge, tuners, pickguard, and tailpiece are all high-quality reproductions. The neck shows visible stress cracks behind the nut and truss rod area. This guitar is housed in a 1960s-era Gibson/Lifton hard case, complete with a case cover.
