Description

1995 Taylor 915 Custom Natural Acoustic Guitar, Serial #951013129.
1995 Taylor 915 Custom Acoustic Guitar in Natural finish, Serial #951013129. This high-end Custom 915 model features walnut back and sides paired with a fine-grained cedar top, offering both tonal warmth and clarity. It is trimmed with abalone around the top and soundhole and features a unique custom inlay theme: a gecko on the fingerboard with gecko footprints as fret markers. An under-saddle pickup has been installed with a standard 1/4" endpin jack for amplified use. The guitar is in unplayed, as-new condition and has been preserved with exceptional care.
Original hard case included. Condition: Excellent.

The Taylor 915 Custom models from the mid-1990s are known for their premium tonewoods and ornate appointments, and this example takes that tradition a step further with one-of-a-kind inlay work and a refined tonal palette. The combination of cedar and walnut produces a balanced, warm sound with rich overtones and excellent sustain, making it ideal for fingerstyle and light strumming. Built during an era when Taylor was rapidly expanding its reputation for innovation and precision, this guitar represents both boutique-level artistry and stage-ready functionality. The addition of an under-saddle pickup enhances its versatility without compromising the integrity of its original design. With its pristine condition, unique aesthetic features, and high-quality craftsmanship, this 915 Custom stands out as a top-tier instrument for both collectors and discerning players.
