Nike Kobe 4 Protro Wizenard Alternate Promo Sample PE | Size 13.5 - The Kobe 4 was first released in 2008, during Bryant's tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers, and it quickly became one of the most iconic and influential basketball shoes of its time. "Protro" stands for "Performance Retro," which means the shoe is a reimagined and updated version of the original Kobe 6 model to meet modern performance standards.

In retirement, Kobe entered the storytelling world by creating his first young adult fantasy novel, The Wizenard Series: Training Camp. With a focus on individual growth, the novel focuses on the power and potential of team sports, and the impact one coach can make on the next generation. Inspired by the book, the colorful design takes cues from the book's cover art and story to remind athletes of the potential that lies within. This is an alternate version of the Wizenard colorway, debuted by DeMar DeRozan against the Los Angeles Lakers on 11/03/2019.
