"Where Were You When Superman Died?" Based off the "Death of Superman" and "Funeral for a Friend" comic book storylines, Doomsday: The Death of Superman is a trading card series released by Skybox in 1992. Cards in this set feature comic artwork depicting Superman's battle against Doomsday, with text written by Roger Stern. The base set consists of 91 cards, with 3 insert sets and 1 promo set. The dark images shown on the cards in this set remain some of the most haunting Superman cards to this day. Offered here is an uncut sheet from this set, featuring cards from the A Memorial Tribute: Spectra Foil Cards insert set. 6 complete 4-card sets are included, for a total of 24 cards. The sheet measures approximately 20" x 26" and has light wear to the edges and corners. Note that the sheet has been written on (part of the production process). The overall condition is Very Good.
