The Air Jordan 1, released in 1985, is a legendary basketball sneaker designed by Nike in collaboration with Michael Jordan, the iconic NBA player. Its design revolutionized the world of footwear, introducing bold colors and high-top silhouette to the basketball court. The iconic red, white and black colorway saw Michael Jordan through his introduction to the NBA and kickstarted an entire era for sneakers around the globe. It's not unreasonable to say that without this specific model, the current sneaker industry as we know it wouldn't exist. Michael Jordan wore the 'Chicago' colorway throughout the majority of the 1985 NBA season.

The shoes exhibit signs of fading and minor discoloration on the ankle collars due to the age of the shoes. Minor blemishes on the upper leather panels. Light midsoles yellowing (due to oxidation). B-grade stamp is done on the inside panel. 'B-Grade' denotes - it's a mark/grade given to sneakers that have minor imperfections in manufacturing, deemed not suitable for retail stores and often sent to outlet stores. Pairs that were sent to the Nike Factory store usually were sold without any of the accessories (box, extra laces). It's very rare to come across original 1985 Jordan 1s with the B-grade stamp.
