Description

City Lights (UA, 1931) Charles Chaplin and Virginia Cherrill 10" x 8" Studio Release Key Set Photograph. PSA/DNA Type 1. Vintage gelatin silver glossy linen-backed 10" x 8" studio release key set photo of Charles Chaplin and Virginia Cherrill in City Lights, just as the Tramp kisses the hand of the blind girl and departs. Near the end of his life, Chaplin still marveled at the magic of the final scene, perhaps the most poignant in all of cinema: "I've had that once or twice ... in City Lights just the last scene ... I'm not acting."
