Woody Herman "And His Greatest Band" 1952 Terrytown, NE Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising Grammy-winning clarinetist, saxophonist, singer and big-band leader Woody Herman appearing in Terrytown, Nebraska on Tuesday, March 11, 1952.

This board has very catchy graphics with musical staffs and notes, a feeling of action with the big circle in the center, a "floating head" shot of Herman, the old Capitol Records logo and of course, that distinctive venue box up top that the Terrytown Arena was known for. A four-color poster (black, green, red and white) that works as well as any 1950's big-band window card we've seen.

Measures 14" x 22" and grades to Near Mint Minus condition. Light toning to the white board is about the only condition issue present. Perhaps a couple of very light, unobtrusive surface creases. COA from Heritage Auctions.
