Beatles Related - Paul McCartney Handwritten Letter to Prince. A two-page letter on 8.25" x 11.25" stationery, undated, handwritten by McCartney in blue ink to Pop megastar Prince. The letter references the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts that McCartney helped found in 1996. It reads in part: "Dear Princely person, Hi there! I know how hard it is to always be getting letters that ask for some favour or another, so it was not easy for me to accept the job of Lead Patron for a Performing Arts School to be located in my home town, Liverpool. But, you guessed it! I did agree to do it, so now I'm writing to "friends and all good people" to try and interest them in the scheme." McCartney wrote his address on the upper right corner of the first page and included a cartoon face below his signature on the second page. A unique item with great content.
