Hill Street Blues Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, 1981. One of the most influential TV series ever produced, Steven Bochco's cop drama Hill Street Blues was also one of the most lauded. Over the course of its seven-season run from 1981-87, it earned 98 Emmy Award nominations -- an average of 14 nominations every year -- and series shares the Emmy Award record for most acting nominations for regular cast members with L.A. Law and The West Wing. It was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series six times and won on four of the occassions. This particular award was presented to producers Bochco, Michael Kozoll, and Gregory Hoblit during the series' debut season. The award is in Very Fine condition with some uniform wear and tarnishing to the gold plating.
