Michael Jackson "We Are the World" Award Plaques. Along with Lionel Ritchie and Quincy Jones, Jackson was one of the primary forces behind supergroup USA for Africa's groundbreaking, chart-topping single that has raised $63 million in humanitarian aid since its 1985 release. Included here are a pair of 11" x 13" plaques from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, saluting the participating artists and their nomination in the category of Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Both are in Excellent condition. Previously featured in The Jacksons auction (2007) at Guernsey's.
