Description

Buck Jones Signed Universal Pictures Agreement. A seven-page lease agreement with attachments, dated March 31, 1934, signed by Jones (as a producer) on page seven and initialed five times by him throughout. The agreement granted the filmmaker/cowboy actor access to the Universal back lot, soundstages, props, and other resources for shooting purposes. Jones produced more than 20 westerns for the studio over the course of 1934-37. The document is in Very Fine condition with some moderate discoloration to the last page. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
