The Rolling Stones Ronnie Wood Notebook Containing Artworks, Song Titles and Lyrics (1970s). Original notebook with black hardcovers with unlined white pages, of which approx. (40) pages contain original artworks, portraits, sketches and doodles by Ronnie Wood, in addition to aide-memoires, handwritten song titles, and lyrics. Dating to the mid-to-late 1970s when Ronnie Wood had joined the Rolling Stones as guitarist after the departure of Mick Taylor. Among the extraordinary variety of drawings by Wood are a color sketch of a concept design for "Love You Live"; a page of Rolling Stones song titles under the headings "Live Titles" and "Live Stuff" with additional annotations by Mick Jagger; a page with four lines of lyrics handwritten by Jagger; a psychedelic artwork in color felt tips; a portrait of a man in profile wearing a "Ted Zeppelin" shirt; one page with a drawing of the famous Rolling Stones tongue logo beneath a series of caricatures of the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton with their instruments; and an effusively written letter from friend of the Stones, Freddie Sessler addressed to "Woody", and dated May 24, 1977, championing Wood's artistic and musical abilities.
