Description

The Rolling Stones Selcol "Big 6" Promotional Toy Acoustic Guitar (1960s). Vintage and rare piece of Rock n Roll merchandising, one of the earliest produced for the Rolling Stones. The "Big 6" plastic guitar manufactured in England by Selcol in the 1960s, measuring 31.5" x 11" x 4" overall. Features a burgundy pickguard and fretboard, with a sticker depicting the band on the body, above raised plastic lettering reading "Rolling Stones / 6." Facsimile signatures of all five members in blue feature prominently on the body above the pickguard. With worn cardboard shipping box which has been flattened and folded, measuring approx. 32" long. Guitar exhibits light handling wear and scuffing consistent with age and use, lacking one string, minor loss to tailpiece. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
