The Andromeda Strain (Universal, 1971), Storyboard Binder. Vintage original production storyboard binder from The Andromeda Strain, containing approx. 100-pages of photostat images with detailed instructions for how key scenes in the film would be shot. Original illustrations appear to have been accomplished in felt-tip and pen, from which copies were made for pre-production and to assist the camera department. Storyboards depict scenes beginning with "Sc 416" and continue unpaginated through "Sc. 594A-595A". Pages are brittle and show signs of foxing with mild bumped corners, and are stored in a standard 3-ring binder with pebbled black faux leather cover. Some signs of oxidation to the hole-punched paper from binder rings. The poster image is for reference only and is not included with this lot. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
