Star Trek: The Next Generation (Paramount, 1987-1994), Rick Sternbach Original Concept Artwork for Engineering Designs. Original group of (7) concept artworks by Rick Sternbach for engineering designs including (4) 8.5" x 11, (1) 14" x 9.25", and (2) 17" x 11". Designs include labels for "Transporter Pad", "New Bridge Side Seats", "Mark IX Photon Torpedo", "Bridge Panels", and "Aft Bridge Station". 1-leaf includes episode specification for Season 4, Episode 25, "In Theory". Accomplished with multicolored felt-tip, black ink, and computer-generated elements with all signed by Sternbach and several dated from 1989 and 1991. This group of engineering designs indicates Sternbach's involvement on the new series from early development and through the run of show as senior illustrator and technical consultant. Exhibits signs of handling and age, including foxing, bumped corners and creases, with paste-ups and white-out marks from the illustration process. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
