Star Trek: The Original Series (Paramount, 1966-1969), Final Draft Screenplay and Storyboards from Episode "The Tholian Web". Vintage original group of (4) items including (1) 62-page (as paginated) Final Draft script for Season 3, Episode 9, "The Tholian Web", bound and bradded, dated July 30, 1968, (2) storyboard artworks accomplished in oil pastels and graphite on 5.25" x 6.75" black construction paper, and (1) "Story Board Sequence" outline printed on 8.15" x 13" paper with handwritten annotations and illustrations on the back. The outline most likely came from the Special Effects department. In "The Tholian Web", Captain Kirk (William Shatner) is stranded on a doomed starship while Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy) must save him and escape before the alien Tholians trap the USS Enterprise in their deadly energy web. Items exhibit production wear and age, including handling and edge wear. There is a stain on the title page of the script, and the storyboard outline has a crease through the midsection from folding and is stained throughout. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
