In 1985's Back to the Future, Marty McFly, a 17-year-old high school student, is accidentally sent thirty years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, disgraced scientist Doc Brown. For many Back to the Future is a perfect film, a pitch perfect script, wonderful direction and amazing performances all down the line. It was nearly a very different film, when the original actor playing Marty McFly was replaced almost halfway through production and Michael J. Fox stepped in. The result is one of the most successful and beloved film franchises, not just of the 1980's, but all time.

This 1986 VHS release of Back to the Future is among the earliest known VHS copies with its wraparound MCA Home Video watermarks and stamped MCATM tape. This copy of Back to the Future has received a Box grade of 8.5 MINT and a Seal grade of 8.5 MINT by IGS.
