Jimi Hendrix Experience 1968 New Orleans, LA Concert Handbill. An original B&W paper concert flyer for the Jimi Hendrix Experience playing at City Park Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana on Thursday night, August 1, 1968. Features the popular and well-known template used throughout this tour, although this N'Awlins version is truly one of the very scarcest ones. This was the month Jimi finished recording Electric Ladyland, which would come out in October. This first-ever Heritage offering measures 8 1/2" x 10 3/4" and grades to Very Good condition. More Information: This glossy piece was once quarter-folded and still carries those creases, although fortuitously they don't break the black color, which is good because they intersect on Jimi's cheek. Corner tip of paper missing in the upper left. Seam split on the far right end of the horizontal crease, the width of the white margin. Standard surface creasing throughout, expected for such a glossy piece. And a very light water stain on the upper left corner, just reaching a small bit into the black.
