Black Sabbath 1973 Offenbach, Germany Concert Poster. An original paper concert poster for Black Sabbath performing at Wiener Stadthalle in Offenbach, Germany on Tuesday night, February 27, 1973. Features a great image of the band with Ozzy Osbourne standing front and center in his leather overcoat, and tons of ticket-buying information above their name. The band was on tour behind Vol. 4, their fourth straight Top 10 album in their native England. New songs like "Changes," "Supernaut" and "Snowblind" were in the mix. (Sabbath Bloody Sabbath would come out later in the year.) Measures 23 ¼" x 33 ¼" and grades to Very Good Plus condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Many European concert posters were "knocked off," or reproduced, at a later date to be sold in stores and such. This is an absolute pre-show first printing of this poster.

Condition details: Poster was found in excellent condition other than damage to the four corners from the usual pin holes and tape residue, so Chameleon Restoration did their magic and there's now no trace of it. A couple of other minor surface blemishes were also addressed and are no longer found, although very minor brown blemishes do remain on the verso.
