FD-89 Quicksilver Messenger Service 1967 Avalon Concert Poster by Griffin & Mouse Graded 9.8. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service, Taj Mahal and the Sons of Champlin playing at the Avalon Ballroom on Friday thru Sunday nights, October 27-29, 1967. Known as FD-89 in the Family Dog numbered series, this poster was designed by the esteemed pair of Rick Griffin and Stanley Mouse and is nicknamed "Mornin Papa." Measuring 14 1/4" x 20", it's been graded an Extra! Extra! 9.8 Near Mint/Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company). COA from Heritage Auctions.
