BG-39 Jefferson Airplane 1966 Fillmore Auditorium "Color Wheel" Concert Poster Graded 9.0. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Jefferson Airplane, the James Cotton Blues Band and Moby Grape playing at the Fillmore Auditorium on Friday thru Sunday nights, November 25-27, 1966. This poster was printed using "color wheel" technology of the day, so every poster is at least slightly different and often drastically different than the next, according to Eric King's poster guide. To which we say, "Cool! Why weren't more posters done this way?"

Designed by Wes Wilson and known as BG-39 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster measures 13 1/2" x 22 1/4" and was graded 9.0 Very Fine/Near Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company). From the Ben Bierman Carmel Street Collection. LOP from Ben Bierman, COA from Heritage Auctions.
