Grateful Dead 1972 Kansas City, KS Concert Poster. A brown & white concert poster for the Grateful Dead performing a two-night stand at Memorial Auditorium in Kansas City, KS on November 12-13, 1972. These were the band's first-ever shows in the state of Kansas, and they would be immediately followed by their first-ever shows in Oklahoma. The first night had nearly two dozen songs performed and the second night had 19. In other words, it was business as usual for the Dead. The band's beloved Europe '72 live album was only a few days old. (It would go onto being a double platinum bestseller.) Measures 11 ¼" x 16 3/8". In Very Good Plus condition.
