Fats Domino 1961 "Spinning Platters" Tour-Blank Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and founding father, Fats Domino, playing at Wilson Auditorium in an unknown city on Monday night, October 9, 1961. The show was relatively short, 8:00 to 10:00 PM, and admittance was only six quarters. It's the design on this poster which makes it so special... the "spinning disc" element which is so fun. The black & red design features a nice big photo of the smiling Antoine Domino, and the #2 R&B hit "Let the Four Winds Blow" is given. This first-ever Heritage offering measures 14" x 22" and grades to restored Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Chameleon Restoration addressed a few edge and corner issues, touching up any printing or color where necessary, mending pinholes, eradicating surface blemishes and greatly reducing any creasing it might have had. The result is a fully satisfying piece with just a couple of slight repair-lines that go through "N." and "Warner Poster" in the bottom-margin credit.
