The Clash 1979 Houston, TX Concert Handbill. Black printed on red paper for a show in Houston, TX on Friday, October 5, 1979. This striking handbill shows images of both the Clash and also "With Special Guest Legionnaires Disease." The Clash were relatively unknown in Houston, and relatively few tickets were sold for this gig until local punk heroes, Legionnaires Disease, were confirmed on the bill. The headliners would release their masterwork, London Calling, in a few months. Measures 8 ½" x 11". In Near Mint condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Aside from some light corner bumping and edge wear, this is quite a stunning example of a major transitional time for Joe Strummer and crew.
