Jefferson Airplane, Byrds 1967 Seattle, WA Trips Festival Concert Poster by Bob Masse. An original concert poster advertising the 1967 Trips Festival in Seattle, Washington on Tuesday, May 30, 1967. The headliners were the Byrds and Jefferson Airplane, and they were joined by Don & the Goodtimes and Emergency Exit. Features very psychedelic lettering by Canada's Bob Masse, in one of the more difficult-to-read lettering of the era.

Printed on double-sided glossy paper, some of these posters carried orange lettering but we prefer this one with magenta. This first-ever Heritage offering measures 14 3/8" x 20 1/4" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: The poster's upper left corner has a 3 ¼" diagonal crease that breaks color, and intersects the "T" of "Trips." The lower right corner has a touch of whitening. There is handling creasing to the glossy paper throughout. The verso has two rubber stamps... one could argue that the top one is from the time of printing, whereas the bottom one might be from a later date, but we can't say if it's from pre-concert or not.
