Freddie Hubbard Open Sesame Mono First Pressing Vinyl Record (Blue Note, BLP 4040). First pressing of the celebrated 1960 debut album from trumpeter Hubbard on the Blue Note label. Only 22 years old at the time, the influential musician recorded the album in the storied Van Gelder Studios in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The trumpeter leads an accomplished ensemble including Tina Brooks on saxophone and McCoy Tyner on piano. Sleeve is in EX 7 condition with ring wear, scuffing, edge/corner cut, corner wear, discoloration. Disc (with blue and white deep groove 47 West 63rd label) is in EX 7 condition with minor scratching and label wear. COA from Heritage Auctions.
