The Beatles "Penny Lane" RIAA White Matte Gold Record Sales Award Presented to Capitol Records (Capitol 5810, 1967). Released as a double A-sided single along with "Strawberry Fields Forever," it hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to Capitol Records to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Copies of the Capitol Records Pop Single Record 'Penny Lane'". Framed to an overall 13.25" x 17.25". In overall Very Good Plus condition with light wear to the frame and some wear on the verso.
