Garth Algar's iconic eyeglasses from Wayne's World with "Stan Mikita" Donut Shop menu and bag. (Paramount, 1992) In the raucous comedy Wayne's World, Mike Meyers as "Wayne Campbell" and Dana Carvey as "Garth Algar" bring their brand of garage rock and public access broadcasting skills from their beloved Saturday Night Live sketches to the big screen. These are Dana Carvey's screen-worn signature "Garth" eyeglasses, consisting of black Ray-Ban brand "Wayfarer" style frames with non-prescription lenses. Presented on an 8 x 8 x 3.5 in. black wooden display with the movie title on the front of the base. Accompanied by glasses' original soft case. A major set piece in the movie is the fictitious "Stan Mikita's Donut shop", named after the legendary NHL center for the Chicago Black Hawks. This lot includes a 5.5 x 8.5 in. laminated paper menu and 6 x 12.25 in. bag imprinted with the black and red Stan Makita's donuts logo featuring a graphic of Mikita. With minimal production wear. All in fine condition.
