First Blood VHS 1982 - VGA 75+ EX+/NM, Clamshell, Vertical Overlap Seal, Rear First Blood Part 2 Ad, Thorn EMI Video First Blood, the 1982 action film directed by Ted Kotcheff, introduced audiences to John Rambo, the iconic character portrayed by Sylvester Stallone. The film's gripping portrayal of a troubled Vietnam War veteran pushed to his limits by a small-town sheriff resonated deeply with fans, touching on themes of PTSD and the mistreatment of veterans. Its effect on fans was profound, inspiring a strong connection to the character and a desire for justice. This factory sealed VHS copy of First Blood comes in the second release Thorn EMI Video clamshell with the Rambo: First Blood Part II advertisement on the rear. The earlier version of First Blood did not have the rear advertisement and the logo on the front had inverted colors on the logo on the cover. Both the first and second releases are very scarce. This copy has received an overall grade of 75+ EX+/NM by VGA, with a Box subgrade of 80 and a Seal subgrade of 75.
