Halloween VHS 1981 - VGA 75 Ex+/NM, TRB Flatback /Rear Green Media Watermarks, Full Box, Media Home Entertainment. In 1978's Halloween director John Carpenter set the bar against which all slasher movies would be measured against and launched a franchise that is still going strong almost 45 years later. Carpenter and his co-writer Debra Hill crafted a scary, visceral and thrilling story of a silent, unstoppable masked boogeyman mercilessly stalking a group of teenage girls on Halloween night. The end result is a modern film that can stand proudly next to the best of Hitchcock and Val Lewton. Since its release Halloween spawned ten sequels. Much like its masked killer, the franchise shows no signs of stopping.

This early 1981 copy of Halloween has rare early yellow Media watermarks running vertically down the rear and has received an overall grade of 75 Ex+/NM by VGA, with a Box subgrade of 75 and a seal subgrade of 80.
