Orange emergency fire suit helmet with yellow visor from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. (Paramount, 1979) Original Starfleet engineering bay radiation suit helmet constructed of a repurposed helmet painted orange with added vacuum-formed chin guard and visor. Featuring mirror Starfleet applique at forehead, and internal neoprene neck liner for comfort of wearer. Designed as part of the Engineering Bay emergency fire suit costume worn in the early Star Trek films. Exhibiting a large crack at both jawlines where the chin guard is attached, small cracks to joints over all, and paint chipping. In production used good condition.
