Raoul Pene Du Bois vintage original costume sketch of Ginger Rogers as "Liza Eliott" from Lady in the Dark. (Paramount, 1944) Costume sketch by Raoul Pene Du Bois for Ginger Rogers as fashion editor "Liza Eliott" in the musical Lady in the Dark. Accomplished in pencil and gouache on 14 x 20 in. artist paper visible through 20 x 26.5 in. mat. Featuring Rogers in riding dress with red jacket, green skirt and accessories and holding a riding crop. "R.P.B." written in pencil at bottom right of image. Minor wrinkling. Vibrant color. Unexamined out of mat. In very good condition.
