Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low Orange Friends and Family Virgil Abloh - The Friends and Family edition of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 collection consists of 8 colorways, each pair features a monochromatic color scheme which are Black, Green, Red, Orange, Yellow, Royal Blue, University Blue and Purple. These exclusive pairs were only gifted to celebrities, and a select few individuals that are close to Virgil Abloh, rumors of 15 to 20 pairs were produced for each color. This is the first formal partnership between Nike and Louis Vuitton, Virgil Abloh is responsible for orchestrating the entire collection. An exhibition was held at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse on May 20th to unveil the entire collection for the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1, showcasing 47 editions.

The Louis Vuitton Air Force 1 are the first shoes to be crafted outside of a Nike factory. True craftsmanship went into making the most high end sneaker, from materials that were hand cut to be organized for construction, hand stitching, machine sewing and sanding. The upper is constructed out of premium leather with debossed LV monogram print. The signature Off-White style finishing is applied onto the shoes, a two-tone midsole reading "AIR" in bold text, laces that have the word "Lacet" by the tips, medial quarter panel which displays "Louis Vuitton for Nike" and an asymmetrical tongue label.

This is the last masterpiece project that Virgil worked on, a revolutionary collaboration between the finest luxury company and the greatest footwear manufacturing company.
