Description

Marilyn Monroe "White Fur Sitting 1" mammoth exhibition print by Milton H. Greene. (December 1955/printed later) Original inkjet 40 x 40 in. print on fiber-based baryta 310gsm photo paper. The year 1955 had been a pivotal for Milton and Marilyn, and would change both their lives forever. The lawsuit with 20th Century Fox was now behind them and they were ready for what would become a momentous 1956. Here, Marilyn is wearing a white mink, a gift from her business partner, Milton. Retaining photographer's estate stamp, signed by Joshua Greene, and hand edition numbered "2/7" on the verso. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. In fine condition.
