Della Reese, Al Hibbler & More 1959 Chicago, IL Jumbo Concert Poster. A large, original cardboard window card advertising a flurry of musical talent performing at Chicago's Regal Theatre for a full week commencing Friday, August 7, 1959. The headliners were Della Reese and All Hibbler, and under-billed were Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis with Shirley Scott, Art Blakey & His Jazz Messengers, the James Moody Orchestra, Bobby Ephram and Al Jackson. The photos of Reese and Hibbler are remarkably clear & sharp, really adding to the poster's classiness and overall eye appeal. Measures 22" x 28" and grades to Near Mint Minus condition. More Information: Board has some pushing and nudging along the top edge and a couple on the left upper edge, to the left of "Regal" and "Free." The latter actually took up a tiny bit of white paper, in the form of a ½" vertical mark. Barely noticeable. And the bottom two corners have tiny corner-ding creases, with the lower right also missing the tiniest bit of white paper on the very tip (but not cardboard), about 1/8" worth.
