Lon Chaney, Sr. (35+) photographs from A Blind Bargain. (Goldwyn, 1922) Collection of (35+) vintage original gelatin silver 8 x 10 in. single-weight glossy portrait, set continuity, and scene photographs. These images represent part of the only surviving visual record of this important early collaboration between Lon Chaney and director Wallace Worsley, as the last known print of the film was incinerated in the 1965 MGM vault fire that also claimed London After Midnight. With 20+featuring Chaney, including an iconic portrait of Chaney in full makeup as "The Ape Man". Some duplicate images. Exhibiting toning, yellowing, corner creasing, marginal wear, and handling. In good to very good condition.
