Description

Batman Bat-Shuttle and Robin-Shuttle in Original Boxes (Mego / Lion Rock, 1979). Made by Mego but using the Lion Rock logo, these hard-to-find vehicles were produced in 1979 to work with the Pocket Heroes line of figures. Each vehicle is molded in distinctive yellow and blue colors with parts that are removable and interchangeable. One of the most interesting things about these are that they are borrowed and recolored from the Micronauts line by Mego. The Bat-Shuttle uses the body of the Micronauts Solarion and incorporates the Hydrocopter gun and wings from Repto. The Robin-Shuttle uses the body of the Taurion with a HydroCopter gun and Solarion upper wings. These are often referred to as "clones" of the Micronauts line.

More Information: Both vehicle boxes are unopened and contain the bagged parts inside them. The original tape has dried on both ends which is common, and some tape is still present but they are no longer sealed. The boxes are in excellent condition with no tears and light shelf wear. The Robin-Shuttle has a half circle crease on the back from top corner to bottom corner on the left side. The bottom rear left corner has a bit of crushing. The Bat-Shuttle has light surface and edge wear with a 3 inch crease at the top right corner on the box back. Both box fronts are clean and will make a beautiful display.
