Description

Batman Marionette Lot (Hazelle's, 1966). This lot of three string puppets was produced by Hazelle's Marionettes in 1966. Included are Batman and Robin loose as well as a second Batman with the original box. Each one measures approximately 16" tall and is composed of a plastic head with felt mask, cloth body with felt accents, and plastic hands and footwear. At the top, each has black string and two wooden arms that connect with a pin, measuring approximately 27" when fully extended. All marionettes are in similar condition with some light fading. They are all solid with no broken parts. The wood and strings are all connected and in working order. Robin's hair could use a bit of taming and his mask has come unattached on the left side. The Batman box has fading, aging, and wear with most of the cellophane is missing. The marionettes are in very good condition with the box being Fair-poor.
