Official Batman Utility Belt with Reproduction Box (Ideal, 1966). One of the most sought-after Batman toys, the Official Batman Utility Belt was released by Ideal in 1966. The box is close to the original with similar colors and a gradient fill backer card like the original. Included in the set are the Utility Belt with Bat-storage pouch and dummy transmitter, Batarang, Batcuffs, Batrope and Grappling Hook, Batgun Launcher, metal Batsignal Flash, Batrocket Grenade, and Batman Message Sender. Also included are reproduction prints of the instructions and original ad for the belt. The box is reproduction with some bubbling of the paper over corrugated cardboard and a cellophane window. The belt itself is in great, uncracked condition and is stapled to the backer card. The short-stem Batrocket is not the original piece to the set and the Message sender is reproduction. The Batarang is original and has some scratches but is uncracked. The sticker is a reproduction and the sticker on the light is not original. The rope is original but worn and the grappling hook is broken. The Batcuffs are original as it the gun, but the sight is broken off. Overall, this is a good starter set to display in your collection.
