Batman Japanese Tin Tommy Gun with Original Box (Tada, 1966). This orange tin Batman tommy gun was released by Tada in 1966 for the Japanese market. It is composed of a lithographed tin body with a plastic barrel and rubber tip and measures 17.25" long. It is one of two different designs produced in this size and style but both with totally different images and details. The artwork on the side shows Batman punching with Robin beside him and has Batman written in Japanese. When activated, the sparks would show inside the red plastic window on top. Also included is the original box which is solid in good condition with nice colors. There is some edge wear and creases on the right end of the box as well as some damage at the corners. The bottom of the box has the original red color inside and is in good condition with light wear. The gun itself is in excellent condition and it would be a challenge to find one cleaner. It has a few small scratches, particularly around the metal tabs, but is in otherwise excellent condition.
